What you will do with us:

We are seeking qualified and experienced Intermediate & advanced Boilermaker/Welder to join our manufacturing team in Campbellfield on a full-time basis. This position is a permanent role and will be required to work between Monday to Friday 6.30am to 2.30pm.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Your main tasks will include:

  • Cutting, drilling and preparing mild steel for the production of gates
  • MIG welding and finishing products to drawing specifications
  • OXY Cutting
  • Quality workmanship at all times
  • Manual handling tasks
  • Reading Drawings specifications and carrying out work accordingly.
  • Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are followed;

Skills and Experience

  • A trade qualification is required and fork lift licence will be highly regarded, but not essential
  • Experience in MIG welding & proven welding skills
  • Experience with fabrication structural steel
  • The ability to interpret and work off engineering drawings
  • Exceptional time managements skills, be able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy & quality
  • Work as a proactive team member in a small team environment
  • Experience with working within a Quality Assured system
  • Working under minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of Safe work practices and working in a safe manner at all times
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar environment, have a willingness to learn and work towards continuous improvement
  • Quality workmanship, and take pride in your work
