Compliance and Auditing
Primary contact with statutory authorities, taxation and internal and external auditing departments/companies.
Responsible for all the compliances relating to Ministry of Corporate Affairs, income tax, GST, PF, ESI, etc. as applicable for the industry.
Support Finance Controller India in promoting compliance with Corporate policies.
Department responsibilities
Overseeing the administrative functions, such as Accounts Payable, GL, Credit Control, Inventory Accounting, month end, costing, etc
Ensure payment to vendors and to other statutory bodies on time.
Implement & maintain the integrity of SAP Accounting system, ensuring it remains effective and operational at all times.
Oversee all commercial legal contracts within the business units eg, rental, sales, purchasing, etc.
Liaise with the Tax Agent to ensure completion of the tax returns.
Overseeing the accuracy of accounting processes and coordination of the accounting team.
Supporting and assistance for preparation of the financial statements of the company.
Consistently contribute to systems and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure deadlines are met as per the Finance Calendar.
Payroll reconciliations and other related payroll reporting for general journal purposes.
Finance Reporting
Supporting to prepare financial reporting requirements (HFM) eg. monthly P&L report, Balance Sheet, Trade Working Capital, Capex, Headcount, Profitability Performance, Asset Performance, AOP (Budgets), cash flow, KPI Reporting, sales and margins reports and other reports in accordance with the guidelines of the group
Documenting and effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Manage end of month reporting, including:
Ensure that revenue is allocated correctly, taking corrective action where inconsistencies arise.
Monitor and track debtors to ensure they are consistent with contract conditions.
Accruals calculation, reserves calculation and adjustments.
Credit collections management including credit limit determination, AR overdue tracking, settlements with external customers, cooperation with law firms engaged in collection
Stock Control & Asset Management
Coordinate the Company’s Asset Management.
Audit stock take processes, including checking data integrity of stock take entries in SAP and assist in investigating stock variances.
Compile obsolescence stock report on a quarterly basis.
Assist in monitoring and protecting the company’s assets – fixed assets and stock.
Corporate Governance
Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws as well as internal corporate governance rules/procedures/policies, including but limited to: FAAC Technologies’ Code of Ethics and FAAC’s Corporate Signature Authority Matrix
Corporate Social Responsibility
Participate in CSR programs as well as provide initiatives that contribute to this program
