We are looking for a Manufacturing Design Engineer for our Group.

The position is based in our HQ in Zola Predosa (BO), with potential travel to our main production plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and re-design of our new and existing assembly lines
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout
  • High involvement in new product development process
  • Creation of necessary technical documentation and training materials
  • Constant assurance of respect of all related safety regulations
  • Close collaboration with the Production, Maintenance department and Project Teams
  • Being point of reference for colleagues in our manufacturing plants abroad
  • Design of electrical panels and controls on board machine, with consequent drafting of electrical and pneumatic schemes
  • Installation of the electrical panel and wiring of the controls on the machine, sensors, actuators, drives, peripheral devices and HMI
  • Programming of PLC, HMI, drives and peripheral devices

Key Requirements:

  • University Degree in Electrical / Electronical / Mechatronic / Engineering
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment of at least 2 years in a same or similar position
  • Excellent skills in analyzing electrical (and/or mechanical) drawings
  • Good skills in designing electrical and pneumatic schematics using program such as EPLAN or equivalent
  • Good skills in programming PLC/HMI using the program TIA Portal (Siemens) or equivalen
  • Knowledge of programming in VBscript, C, C++, Python environment would be a plus
  • Knowledge in the use of Autocad and CAD 3D (NX, Solidworks) would be a plus
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken
  • Availability to travel on international sites
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change
