The overall purpose of the role is to aid the collection of payments from customers, resolving queries in regards to invoices, raising sales invoices to customers. You will also provide valuable assistance and cover to over areas of the business and take responsibility for some important areas of day to day Company requirements.

The role reports directly to the Financial Controller and works closely with the in position credit controller, as well as close liaison with the projects and sales teams within the business, primarily HUB Parking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily invoicing of FAAC distribution sales.
  • Credit control with primary focus on the Hub Parking Technology Sales Ledger.
  • Process bank receipts to the Sales Ledgers.
  • Send and follow up Reminder Letters to chase outstanding accounts to ensure customers stay within agreed credit terms.
  • Resolve queries by liaising with both the customer and other internal departments.
  • Review and distribute monthly customer statements.
  • Liaise with the Sales Order Processing, Service and Projects Departments regarding the release and payment of customer orders.
  • Comply at all times with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the company in its maintenance of quality standards.
  • Responsibility for Health & Safety and Company Car Fleet.
  • Ad-hoc purchasing and purchase ledger cover may be required.
  • Promote and protect the company’s image and good reputation at all times.
  • Fulfil any other duties and responsibilities that after consultation may be determined from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Preferably 2 years experience in credit control/office environment.
  • Effective communication including written and verbal.
  • Competent with Business and Finance Systems.
  • Deliver required tasks accurately and on time whilst working under pressure.
  • Have a positive ‘can do attitude’ with natural problem-solving abilities that are accompanied with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong organization & time management skills
  • Be able to work as part of a team collaboratively as well as on your own initiative.
  • Flexible to take on new tasks as required
