FAAC Technologies, world leader in access automation, access control and parking systems, more than 50 sales companies, more than 3.600 employees worldwide and 18 manufacturing plants, is looking for a Legal Counsel.

Reporting directly to the Group General Counsel the in-house legal will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of legal advisory services for FAAC SpA and, in general, for all the European legal entities of FAAC Technologies group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in daily activities with specific focus on contractual process, including reviewing and drafting of national and international commercial contracts;

• Review and provide legal advice on contractual documents in order to avoid or minimize business risks;

• Brief, oversee and manage external legal advisors to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and priorities;

• Work with internal stakeholders to increase awareness and skills in relation to contract management and legal risk, partnering with key individuals within the organization to identify potential legal issues as they arise;

• Liaise with relevant department to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken;

• Handle litigations cases and advice management accordingly;

• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions;

• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes in the field of commercial and corporate law, proposing corrective actions and adjusting company policies accordingly

• Maintain databases ensuring accurate recording of legal contracts and other documents.

Key requirements:

• Degree in Law

• Master degree on commercial law will be an added advantage

• At least 5/6 years of professional experience in legal counsel position, preferably in primary multinational companies and/or international law firms

• Ability to work independently, including management of workload.

• Strong organizational and planning skills, including capacity to priorities and deliver a wide variety of legal work for the organization to tight timescale in a fast-moving environment

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Knowledge of database (i.e Onelegale) will be considered as a plus

• Fluent English
