Main Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the incumbent will be required to ensure continued sales and customer support by providing accurate product advice, processing orders efficiently, and maintaining strong relationships with CENTURION customers across internal and external sales channels.

Main Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement & Sales Support

 Liaise with clients telephonically, via digital platforms, and across the counter
 Respond timeously and professionally to customer queries
 Conduct daily cold calling and maintain an up-to-date customer database
 Prepare and follow up on verbal and written quotations
 Conclude open orders and outstanding quotations

Order Processing & Administration

 Capture sales orders accurately on SAP
 Liaise with Stores and Production regarding order preparation, availability, and ETA’s
 Assist Sales Administration with maintaining accurate customer profile information
 Update daily sales and activity reports

Product Support & Promotion

 Provide basic technical product support and alternative product advice
 Deliver product demonstrations to individual customers in the demo area
 Support external sales representatives with product and marketing information
 Assist with booking training delegates, invoicing, payments, and issuing certificates
 Ensure demo room readiness and availability of marketing material

Business Support & Collaboration

 Attend daily MBU meetings to resolve operational issues
 Assist with trade shows, exhibitions, product launches, open days, stock takes, and client functions
 Support external sales on occasional client visits
 Participate in ad-hoc duties as required by the branch

Qualifications and other Requirements:

 Matric
 Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical sales environment
 Computer literate (MS Office)
 SAP proficiency
 Ability to work overtime when required
