About the Role
The supply chain manager is responsible for the national supply chain and procurement activities across the 3 Business Units within the FAAC Group in Australia. The brands within the FAAC Group include: Magnetic Automation, FAAC, HUB Parking Technology and Centsys. This position can be based at either our Campbellfield Victoria office or Regents Park New South Wales office (the vacancy is advertised in both states but only one position exists). The Supply Chain Manager will manage the supply operations of the warehouses located in Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia & Queensland. The Supply Manager will be required to develop and implement purchasing, storage and distribution policies, procedures, strategies and systems to ensure the efficient movement of goods within the national supply chain.
Duties & Responsibilities
The main responsibilities across the 3 Business Units include:
- Monitor suppliers to ensure they are able to meet stock demands
- Ensure supplier product quality and delivery targets are met
- Establish a regular price review program for stock and other bulk/regular purchases
- Assess current orders and forecast future demand in order to provide adequate supplies
- Reviewing inventory and supply systems to ensure stock is adequately controlled
- Develop and execute supplier agreements
- Handle stock delivery issues with a key focus on mitigating customer, operational and financial impacts
- Track, evaluate and report on supply chain and other key business process metrics
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within the warehouse team as well as cross-functionally
- Ensure safety is paramount at all times
Skills & Experience
- 3 to 5 years experience within a similar position
- Purchasing and forecasting experience a must
- Implementing policies and procedures
- Tertiary qualification within a relevant field
