General Summary

Project Co-Ordinators support the Project Managers to administer a project from order through to completion and invoicing and are responsible for all aspect of administration for the project during its life cycle.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • • Log new projects when orders are placed
  • • Ensure POW is included with order if not chase for it
  • • To manage Projects mailbox and allocate according to responsibilities
  • • Book surveyor to attend site in accordance with POW
  • • Chase survey returns when required
  • • Book engineers & sub-contractors according to POW with project manager support regarding required resource for the project
  • • Responsible for engineers paperwork daily returns, chasing when required
  • • Book deliveries
  • • Arrange required plant for installation as instructed by the PM
  • • Ensure quality documents are printed/scanned for final load
  • • Book hotels and hire equipment when installation date is confirmed and engineer allocated by Project Manager
  • • Raise sub-contract PO and issue to Project Manager
  • • Send RAM’s to the customer
  • • Invoice completed projects when instructed to by Project Manager
  • • Sending completion pack to the customer including O&M’s and commissioning cert
  • • Assist Project Manager with any other administration
  • • Ensure the click system is up to date at all times

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of the construction industry – Desirable not essential
  • Ability to multi-task – Co-Ordinating several projects at one time
  • IT literate
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Special Competencies required:

  • EN16005 cert is required – Training and test will be organized by DSS after 6 months employment.
