What you will do with us

With offices around Australia, this position can be based in either Victoria, New South Wales or Queensland.

Proivde financial expertise within the following responsibilities:

  • Partner up as strategic Business Partner with the APAC Financial Controller, Senior Managers/Directors and Business Unit Managers and Operational employees to provide accounting support to assist with various financial analysis of specific projects.
  • Provide assistance and direction to the Sales & Project team in calculating gross margins for various projects and tenders.
  • Compliance with statutory authority and internal/external audit requirements and authorisation matrix.
  • Compliance and lodgement all with taxation and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure invoicing for clients are in line with relevant contractual conditions.
  • Liaise as the primary contact with external/internal auditors to ensure compliance with IFRS, FAAC Procedures and Statutory Accounts where required.
  • Payroll reconciliations and other related payroll reporting.
  • Guide and mentor Accounts Receivable/Payables employee to ensure consistent and efficient processes.
  • Stock control and asset management reporting
  • Oversee, Prepare, collate and analyse information required for the Group’s budget, forecasting and 3 year planning process for Australia.
  • Preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual management reports including tracking financial performance against budget and forecast
  • Ensure revenue recognition complies with corporate policy.
  • Monitor and track all general ledger accounts for consistency in regards to allocations and spending fluctuations.
  • Participating in systems and process improvement initiatives.

What you will bring to our team

  • Passion for numbers and business-savvy acumen.
  • Formal degree qualification in Finance/Accounting.
  • Background in a similar role within manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Microsoft Office Suite - Advanced Excel preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in compliance, planning, organising and problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders- both external and internal located in different locations.
  • Flexibility to travel interstate.
