Description

We are looking for an organized and team oriented Electronic Engineer to join our New Product Introduction Team! Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the selected candidate will be working primarily as a coordinator of the activities involved in bringing newly designed PCBs to production. The person will collaborate with cross-functional teams within the whole Engineering Department, Procurement Department and Production, integrating Lean Methodology to the work.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all tasks necessary to produce newly designed PCBs
  • Collaborate with other departments to organize activities (es. Procurement department, Process Engineer team, Test Engineer team)
  • Support Production in designing the lines, ensuring the process runs smoothly and intervening timely when needed
  • Process relevant data on SAP from the design of PCBs
  • Efficiently manage the relationship with our foreign designers, working in our headquarters and other subsidiaries mainly located in Italy and Germany
  • Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to our customers’ inquiries

Key Requirements

  • A Diploma in Elelctronic Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in the electronics manufacturing industry
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the Lean Approach
  • Knowledge of document management systems (M-files would be ideal) and SAP
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs, i.e. Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 (preferable)
  • Previous experience in an R&D electronic department (preferable)
