The purpose of the Service Sales Manager role is to to manage the back office and field based service contract sales team. Developing, communicating, enforcing, and monitoring effective sales processed to ensure growth in contracts to meet and exceed annual sales targets.

To monitor, action, and ensure adherence to SLA/KPI’s. To be responsible for the development and provision of exceptional sales growth and a high standard of internal and external customer communication. To support the Service Director and the senior management team when required.

WORK TASKS:

• Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets in target markets.

• Monitor, Report & Drive Sales Growth Associated With existing Customers

• “Hunting” New Customer & Existing Customer Sales Opportunities/Growth

• Lead and motivate staff to grow service contract sales.

• PQQ & Customer Questionnaire Ownership & Completion

• Tender Completion Including Management & Ownership Of Tender Schedules To Ensure Correct on time submissions

• CRM Quotation Creation Including Order Text Inputting & Adjustment, Follow Up & Conversion To order/order transfer

• Completing Internal Contract Negotiations To Gain Relevant Commercial & Operational T&C’s sign off

• Negotiation & Agreement Of Service Features

• Representing the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events

• Proactively Targeting & Realising Customer Specific Upgrade & Modernization Opportunities

• Monitor, Report & Drive Contract Renewals Associated With existing Customers

• Tender Completion Including Management & Ownership Of Tender Schedules

• Completing Pre-Contract Renewal Financial (i.e. Spend/Revenue & Margin Analysis) & Operational team reviews prior to renewal

• CRM Quotation Creation Including Order Text Inputting & Adjustment, Follow Up & Conversion To order/order transfer

• Contract Negotiations Including Relevant Commercial & Operational T&C’s

• Completing Internal Contract Negotiations To Gain Relevant Commercial & Operational T&C’s sign off


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

• In-depth knowledge of marketing/sales techniques and best practices

• Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to accurately forecast sales on a monthly basis

• Ability to quickly understand the company's product range and service offering

• Dynamic, High energy and strong self-motivation is imperative
