Reporting to the Head of HR, this role focuses on elevating the skills, knowledge, and professional growth of employees across the Company. It necessitates a robust expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and adult learning principles, as well as active collaboration with diverse stakeholders to pinpoint training requirements, craft impactful learning initiatives, and conduct dynamic training sessions to promote ongoing learning and advancement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify gaps in skills and knowledge. Collaborate with departmental heads and HR to understand Company goals and align learning initiatives accordingly.
  • Instructional Design: Develop and update curriculum based on identified needs and industry best practices. Design and create engaging learning materials, e-Learning modules, workshops and other resources.
  • Facilitation: Facilitate dynamic and interactive training sessions for diverse audiences.
  • Utilize various instructional techniques and delivery methods to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Technology Integration: Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into learning solutions. Explore and implement innovative tools to enhance the learning experience.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Implement assessment strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programmes. Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve learning initiatives.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Mentoring and Coaching: Provide mentorship and coaching to junior member of the L&D teams.
  • Share expertise and best practices to contribute to the team’s overall development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content. Collaborate with external vendors and training partners when necessary.
  • Cost Centre Control: Actively monitor and control expenditure against the AOP.
  • Reporting: Monitor all aspects of the Government’s Skills Levy programme ensuring the Company complies with all the requirements laid down by the Government and optimizing rebates or refunds available to the Company. Comply with all corporate and departmental policies while carrying out workplace activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience as a L&D Facilitator with at least 5 years in a senior role.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in e-Learning authoring tools and learning management systems.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
