Reporting to the Head of Sales, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Key Clients, by providing ongoing sales and customer support.

The main duties of this position include:
• Developing and sustaining solid relationships with our key clients
• Acting as the main point of contact between our Key accounts and internal teams
• Communicating and collaborating with our marketing, sales and logistic departments to ensure that key client’s needs are met
• Developing a thorough understanding of our key account’s needs and requirements
• Addressing and resolving key client’s complaints and queries
• Monitoring their sales performance and product volumes
• Compiling reports on their accounts progress (SAP reports), goals and forecasts
• Traveling to the different regions for key account branch visits and audits
• Continuously looking for opportunities to grow our basket of products with key clients
• Promote our training courses and product presentations.
• Creating awareness of the new product range with our existing clients
• Providing structured and detailed feedback / call reports to the National Sales Manager
• Providing feedback on competitors, pricing, new products, marketing etc.
• Addressing product issues that arise with clientele, and ensuring that queries are properly addressed.
• Assisting with preparation of the key accounts’ annual sales forecast and marketing requirements
• Contributing to the team effort by participating in strategic meetings, ensuring there is excellent inter-departmental communication.
• Assisting with event planning and management.

Qualifications and other Requirements:
• A minimum of matric, a tertiary degree or IMM equivalent will be advantageous
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in an external sales environment with proven track record
• Experience and/or qualification in event planning and management
• Technical background advantageous
• SAP experience will be advantageous
• Valid drivers’ license
• The ability to travel around the country
